Tempo Magazine is a student-run publication showcasing student writing, photography, and design. I had the privilege of serving as Art Director for the final four semesters of my time at Coastal, an experience that shaped both my creative and leadership skills.
In this role, I was responsible for maintaining the visual standard of each issue, from overseeing layouts to ensuring a cohesive design language throughout. I recruited and mentored new designers, provided constructive feedback, and collaborated closely with both my team and other departments to bring each issue to life.
While the position came with its challenges, it was an incredibly rewarding experience—one that I’m proud of and hope is reflected in the work my team and I created together.
